By accessing and using ratemyresume.net ('the Service'), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

ratemyresume.net provides AI-powered resume analysis and feedback. The Service includes both free (limited to the first page of your CV) and paid tiers (full CV analysis using purchased credits). We use third-party AI models (Google Gemini) to process the content of the uploaded resumes.

3. Credits and Payments

Paid analyses require the use of credits. Credits can be purchased through our payment provider, LemonSqueezy. All purchases are final and non-refundable unless otherwise required by law. Credits do not expire.

4. User Responsibilities and Data

You are responsible for the documents you upload. Do not upload documents containing highly sensitive personal information (such as social security numbers or banking details) that are not typically included in a resume. While we process the text of your resume to provide feedback, we do not permanently store the raw text of your CV in our database. We only store the structured AI feedback and your overall score for sharing purposes.

5. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided 'as is'. The feedback generated by our AI is for informational and entertainment ('Roast Mode') purposes only. We do not guarantee employment, interviews, or the absolute accuracy of the AI-generated feedback.

6. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. We will notify users of significant changes by updating the date at the top of this page.
